Welcome to my portfolio! I’ve spent nearly 10 years as a story artist in the animation industry, and I adore creating and revising stories! Here is some of my work. You can also find me on Linkedin, and my most current work on my Homepage.
“Gele Tulpen” (“Yellow Tulips” in Dutch) is a personal project, a story about a Jewish mother who builds a golem to help her son escape WWII. A golem is a creature from Jewish folklore that can be brought to life from clay. I’m a WWII enthusiast and this has been one of my favorite projects to board!
When I worked for Disney Interactive, I was a story lead on the Moana playset. This intro piece was a fun challenge, as we needed to give a lot of info in a short amount of time, and do it in a format compatible for live render. The tapa-cloth tapestry made for a fun narrative.
Here’s part 2 of this intro animatic. You may notice Maui begins on the island with Moana. This is because the toy characters of the game were switchable, so they needed to have the same narrative arc (In other words, they had to begin together.)
“A Mother’s Hope” is a project I boarded (another WWII story–but this one is true) about a German mother who loses her children on a train. It ended up getting produced, which you can see side-by-side below.
And, here are some samples of my work on Disney Infinity:
Other pieces I’ve boarded:
Illustrations / Drawings
Most of these were created in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Thank you for having a look! I’m honored you spent your time with me ^_^
