Last Sunday President Hinckley passed away. He was 97! I guess I never thought of him as that old, because he had so much energy. It was a very sad surprise.

Last April, President Hinckley spoke at my graduation! It was awesome. The moment he entered, the entire Marriot Center stood up and cheered like mad. He motioned several times for us to sit down, but no one could. We couldn’t stop. The feeling he brought into that building was incredible.

You know that sort of thrill you get when you watch “Mary Poppins,” and the parents finally pay attention to their kids and everyone is singing and dancing and flying kites? That’s the sort of feeling President Hinckley gave. I won’t ever forget him.
